This session will cover abiotic ( i.e. water, light, nutrients, media) and biotic (diseases and insects) factors that can negatively impact vegetable transplant production and pest management. Teresa Rusinek will review cultural practices to keep transplants healthy and prevent pest outbreaks. She will walk participants through some of the most common production issues during spring veg production and provide recommendations for insect and disease management.
